After posting my request for a lossless rip of Missing Persons' "Rhyme & Reason" CD, i figured I might as well go ahead and offer some inspiration. So here are my own re-creations of the USA 7" Edits for "Windows" and "Walking In L.A.", edited from my copy of the Missing Persons "Classic Masters" compilation CD. As far as I can tell, the 7" Edit of "Windows" has never been released on any official CD or digital format. It also happens to be my favorite "version" of the song.

Just realized I saved the FLAC file to wrong location so I actually uploaded the AIFF file. This should be easily converted to WAV for anyone who isn't a Mac user though.

Thank you, Fred, for the re-upload. I somehow missed this the first time as well. Any chance of re-uploading "Walking in L.A. [7" Edit]" as well? I love your 7" re-creations.

Here's my "Walking In L.A. (7" Edit)" re-creation for ya. I uploaded the uncompressed AIFF file of this since that's the format I shared here earlier with my "Windows (7" Edit)" re-creation. As with that re-creation, I used the "Classic Masters" 2002 24bit remaster CD.

No I haven't. Is there one? I don't see anything on discogs about it being on anything but the "Spring Session M" album? Hmmmmm

Oh, no I haven't, sorry hehe. I generally just re-create existing official edits. There have been a few exceptions here and there, but not many. Besides, that track is already pretty short!

There does appear to be a "Words" 7" edit from the Netherlands 7 inch that clocks in at 3:40. That would be a cool one to have and interesting to hear.
