Actually I shouldn't be so surprised really, their anthology set from 2016 uses some pretty brutally cut edits of a few songs and I recall the radio edit of Sky being quite short too.

On the anthology they used the radio edits of "Night People" and "Sky" but not "Never Let Me Go". Grrr.
It was nice to get some of the earlier DJ edits on CD finally.

what's different to the normal 7 inch?

edit: just pulled out the original 12 inch which has the following running times according to the wavs i created

heart like a wheel extended 6m55s
heart like a wheel 4m29s
rebound 3m59s

If anyone is expecting stopwatch accurate to within milliseconds i'm no help to you look in the phone book for a psychiatrist.

It's an edit. It's shorter than the standard 4:29 single version.
