X-Factor was a short lived band, about a year, with Gert van Veen (ex Hi-Jinx) on keys, Ruud Olthof (ex Beau Geste) on vocals + guitar, Steven Wienjus ('t Goede Doel) on bass, René van Barneveld (later GaGa and Urban Dance Squad) on guitar and Toni Peroni (ex Secret Sounds, ex 't Goede Doel) on drums. They made some demo's and did some radioshows like Countdown and Popkrant on the Dutch radio. Their sound can be described as influenced by Tears for Fears.

This is unfortuantly all I know at the moment. I hope to get some more info, and also expect to tell you more about the band soon.

Thank you very much Rissan for letting me know more about them!
Do you maybe have any other songs by X-Factor?
And could you please tell me, where is this song located on, is it maybe a part of their compilation tape? :)

To PaL: The band and a befriend engineer are in the process of remastering all the tracks for a possible digital release in the near future, probably released through bandcamp. as soon I know more I let you know.

To Maccafan: I keep searching and hope to come up with something on a unregular base.

I really like the Bramlaan song. I see they have one album but I cant find any working links. Do you have the rest of the album? I also like the Missing Link track but I cant find anything else from them.

Since Saint Nicholas, the good holiness, is in the country again, here are some Dutch treats:

Bramlaan: https://www50.zippyshare.com/v/joskQPPV/file.html

The Missing Link: https://www50.zippyshare.com/v/Ih7hOYw7/file.html

The Missing Link is my own rip from a 7" EP I bought on the Dutch island Texel in late Augustus this year.

Just available for a short time.
