I'm working my way through the WLIR/WDRE Screamer & Shreiks of the Week and ran into a song I can't find.

Speed Of Light Simple Minds 4-Aug-91

I can't find any references to this song on Google, not even some obscure B side. Has anyone heard of this song, and might you have a digital version?

I am wondering if this should be OMD's "Speed of Light" which was released in 1991

Most likely is it should read 'see the lights' which is on the 1991 'real life' album.

That is a good idea, but "See the Lights" is also on the list, but a few months earlier

Could have gotten the artist wrong.

OMD has a track called "Speed of Light", released on their 1991 album, "Sugar Tax".

I concur. It's a typo where OMD should be there if "See The Lights" already is. Simple Minds did a song "Light Years" in 2009 but it could only be that one if it fell into a black hole and went back in time nearly 20 years.

"Speed Your Love..." was from '84 and "Hunter..." from "82.

No, this was definitely a typo. Should have been OMD.
