On the 35th anniversary on its release it has been brought up on Superdeluxeedition once again and someone mentioned this version that has been completely unknown to me and - I`m sure - to most as well.

Instrumental version - the so-called "Sound Shower Mix" on the Japanese only rare promo 12" released in 1984.

I am writing this on a slim chance that someone here might have a copy or a decent rip they would like to share.....

I see this post getting a huge number of views but no responses.....understandably so.......while there is still no sign of this illusive version.......

However, in light of the upcoming Wham! Japanese singles collection, there is some talk on other forums (rumours ?) that this mix may see the light of day after all......hopefully not in a too distant future.....

Sadly the "Careless whisper" version included on this compilation is the single version. A GM Collector said that the elusive "Sound Shower mix" was exclusive for a Nagoya radio station and sounds disastrous! In Youtube there is a demo floating around(?) mislabeled as the sound shower mix

You've got to be brave to upload any wham stuff it gets some very quick takedowns. I'm not that brave but I am sat here with the final gig master.

Guitars101 and DIME been listing Wham and GM gigs from 2016. Their official stuff is available on all major torrent platforms. Copyright lawyers are fired for lockdowns?)

I was referring primarily to youtube as mentioned in the previous post. I have no interest in dime as I don't do and won't do torrents. I would love to talk about guitars101 but there's a lot of easily offended folk on here who would be having nightmares not to mention the person on here with hundreds of posts/requests on guitars101 who claims to have nothing to offer anyone here or elsewhere.

I got the wembley final concert in a trade. Not the best quality but it's still enjoyable. XD
What I never understood was why split on a 3 disc set? Could easily fit into 2 disc set. Never like the original cd cover. Looks very amateur LOL
I think looks a little bit better now (with a revamped design).



I would not be surprised if the japanese wham bootlegs are of the same sound quality
