Hi everyone, I'm a long-time lurker and I thought I'd finally get an account here after all this time. Lately I've been going through my vinyl collection and ripping them, especially obscure stuff that never saw a release on CD or any digital format. I was also largely inspired by coming across obscure New Wave and synthpop stuff on various blogs, only to be disappointed with the audio quality with the downloads they provided.

So with that in mind, I'd like to share a rip I made of The Vels' first album from 1984, Velocity. It's encoded as 256 kbps AAC files, but I can provide this as 24-bit 96 kHz FLAC files if anyone wants!

Please, can you upload this album in FLAC? It would be great cause it's difficult to find it on good lossless quality.

I'm actually going to redo this one as I ripped this before I upgraded to an Ortofon 2M Blue (previous one was a 2M Red), and the Blue seems to handle sibilance and inner groove distortion much better than the Red did. So once that's done, I'll replace the link with the redone version (lossless of course!) for you all to enjoy.
