Got another vinyl rip to share, this time of Peter Godwin's debut EP (although called a "mini-LP") "Dance Emotions". I acquired this recently to replace yet another bad quality rip downloaded from a Blogspot page over ten years ago, and needless to say I think this is one of the better quality rips I've done.

EDIT: Just found out that this is now available on Apple Music, Spotify and other platforms! It seems to be from the master tapes instead of a vinyl transfer, so I urge people to support the artist and buy or stream the EP from their digital platform of choice instead of downloading this vinyl rip of mine.

Thanks, I really do take care in my rips and I'm a stickler when it comes to audio quality.

For those curious, I process these using a program called ClickRepair which can detect clicks and pops, even pretty minor ones. I have it set so it will stop when it detects a potential click, and from there I can take a look and see if it's actually surface noise or part of the music. If you just let it go into full automatic mode, it will actually take the edge of drums and vocals which of course you don't want.

As far as equipment goes, my turntable is a Pioneer PL-707 paired with an Ortofon 2M Blue, which sounds great and tracks like a champ. Lately I picked up an Audio-Technica AT91R as my "daily driver" cartridge and it sounds nice enough that I could do rips with it.

Very interesting about the equipment you use and I've heard nice things about ClickRepair, so now I should consider getting it as I'd really like to clean up some of my own rips and those that came my way. Thank you again and please post more of your work, I'm sure it will be appeciated!
