Just browsing on Youtube yesterday and found this episode of Crackerjack from 1984:

A band called Touch performing Plague Of Hearts.

As soon as I heard it I remembered hearing a 12" version of the same song just recently and liking it immensely,
but surely it wasnt be the same band, was it ?

By looking at this entry looks like its not, but it really is.....

Why would an artist release a 7" single by one name and then rename themselves differently to release a 12" version of the same track - in the same year ?
Just dont get it.....Could someone give a reasonable explanation ?

Anyway.....looking for the amazing 12" version of Plague Of Hearts - The Mystery with equally amazing b-side instrumental.....

Not unheard of. Crazy House re-released the excellent Burning Rain under the new band name 'Shrine of 8', and in fact renamed the song Perfect Crime.
