Malcolm McLaren was Sex Pistols manager and a prominent pop- and electro- music experimentator with a massive record heritage.

My personal fave is his FANS album from 1984, an interesting fusion of opera music with electronic sound, mixed with rap, spoken word and a dozen of other styles.

A video from this album is still in my TOP 3 of the Best Erotic Videos of 80-ies, together with Ultravox' Visions in Blue and Duran Duran' Girls On film":-)

here are three singles from that album:

1984. Malcolm McLaren. Madam Butterfly [Vinyl, 7] (CBR – 320)

02. First Couple Out

1984. Malcolm McLaren. Carmen. [Vinyl, 12] (CBR – 320)
01. Carmen (L'Oiseau Rebelle)
02. Death Of Butterfly (Tu Tu Piccolo) (Instrumental)
03. Carmen (L'Oiseau Rebelle) (Instrumental Remix)

1988. Malcolm McLaren. Madam Butterfly [Mini-CDS] (CBR – 320)
01. Madam Butterfly (Un Bel Di Vedremo) (12' Version)
02. Death Of Butterfly (Tu Tu Piccolo) (Instrumental)
