REQ: Opus III

Postby Fred Taghon » Wed Mar 17, 2021 7:33 pm

I know Opus III is NOT new wave and not even 80's (their first album came out in 1992), but they did do a spectacular cover of "It's A Fine Day" originally by Jane, from 1983! ;-)

Anyway, I have a feeling Opus III appeals to a lot of New Wave fans just the same, and am hoping someone out there might be able to share a FLAC rip of their USA Promo CD-Single for "I Talk To The Wind" (with 2 Moby remixes)??? If so, I'd really appreciate a Cue file as well! Thanks for any help :-)

Opus III is fantastic. I loved their two albums in the 90s. I do have the US promo you are interested in, it's great. Unfortunately, I ripped it as 320 MP3 and I sold it when I was downsizing my music collection.

Obviously, I regret that decision, but if you'd like the mixes in 320, here they are:

For those unfamiliar, "I Talk To The Wind" is a cover of the King Crimson song from their first album.

Great song. The original version of ITTTW was recorded by Giles, GIles & Fripp with a cheap recorder and a vocalist called Judy Dyble.
Are you going to start screwing over Redo like you screwed over MSK with your endless requests? what an idiot you turned out to be MATT
