With only 11 weeks remaining before we wrap up the LBNF series, I quickly wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks for sticking around and for all the continued support! I know this series may not be for everyone but for those who gave it a chance and listened to all the tracks week after week, I hope it was worth it and you discovered artists/bands you never heard before or simply had forgotten about. I still didnt have time to listen to the new volumes, but I wanna briefly mention one of the older ones,
namely vol.68.

The thing is, every day when I go out on my daily walk LBNF80s is my soundtrack
and I am slowly working my way through the old volumes. Just got around to vol.68 and there is a track there that simply blew my mind.

Curt Lawrence - Black Is The Colour

Of all of the Curt Lawrence tracks Paul has provided for us this is the most striking example for me of what can someone who is an exceptionally good vocal interpreter
do with a track. What a voice!
When you hear this one just through your headphones on a portable player you cannot believe your ears. Its that good.
I can only imagine how would it sound when heard through a decent stereo system.

Shoot The Tsar - Nights Are Longest 450 (88) man, this sounds like David Sylvian

What more is there to say. Just amazing as usual.

The highlights:
Besides the, by Fred80 already, mentioned Art Déco and Shooting The Tsar, I surely go for Stolen Pets as well. The singer sounds like Midge Ure.

Awww - really bummed I missed this. I purchased the download of The Dugites debut album the other day having just discovered them. This is the one with "Amazing" on it, which is a great song but the download I bought was clearly mastered from vinyl and there's a nasty little skip in that song at 4:37. I don't suppose anyone could share JUST that one song (assuming the version on this file is done correctly?).

how to download? When I open it a get a window to put in a question?!
