Time to post our Soulseek handles again

Discuss hard-to-find or out-of-print New Wave and '80s Alternative, and share a few songs along the way.
NOTE: requesting songs that are entirely unrelated to the genres discussed here or easily found on CD is strongly discouraged and posts will be enforced as needed.

Soulseek normally only show chat rooms with more than 20 people in them. You have to manually refresh the chat room window to show all of the active chat rooms. But for me. Doing this crashes my soulseek client and I have to do the whole thing from scratch to show all of the active chat rooms.

I'm the same on soulseek: kyyx4ever

I am on on the weekends. I do not have a lot to share...well, I'm not sure what a "LOT" is. 2.55 MB worth of music. I have no idea if that's considered a lot, but I always click the "share" button. Mostly there's a lot of random stuff on there, some rare stuff. But I cannot keep much music on our harddrive.

Yes, this can often cause the program to crash, especially on less powerful computers... and you must also be *patient* as it refreshes.

Once you enter a chatroom, under the Chatroom tab you will find a toggle which allows you to automatically join that room every time you log on, without the need to seek it out again from the rooms list. That chatroom will now automatically be established whenever you log in. (At least that's how I understand it.)

On Soulseek I am: muthaone

I spend more time and share more on the hub, but I can fix that.

My SLSK -- Joesophagus.

Thanks to hensoneno for the ryuichi sakamoto album! It's pretty fantastic, as you said.

And I've added most of the people on this thread.

Hey Murphy! good to see you here! soulseek is a hotbed of activity lately. I've recently downloaded practicaly Hugh Cornwell's entire catalog, and wall of voodoo seven days in sammytown just to name a few.

Hey Joe, Obscure80s here. Thanks for the tracks so far. Any chance of you trying the latest Soulseek test version? I can't see you on the network no more, ever since I upgraded.

I have the latest version of SoulSeek for Mac, so maybe it's just my server. Sorry to anyone having trouble downloading off of me. You know I've found that if the "connection fails" and I manually upload those files it work much, much better. Anyone on my list whom I download from gets that privilage.

Wow, Hugh Cornwell. The Stranglers are great, but I never thought to seek out any solo material. I gotta get on that like all the totally amazing YMO solo stuff I've been missing out on.

I too have added everyone in my userlist. Bad thing for me is- I'm asleep when you guys are up, so I couldn't d/l!

Siouxmoux, you're the only one I could see all the time, and I wouldn't want to endlessly loot from you now, eh! [:D]

That's funny, my list is 20 users long, and nobody is signed on in the evening! Hmm. I'll bring it up tomorrow morning as an experiment since I'm telecommuting.
