Just clarifying things here....

By sending through yousendit.com and posting the link it will be available to several people, rather than having to e-mail it to ten or twelve different people who e-mail you and request it. It just makes it easier for you and easier for others who want it. They can just click on the link and download it.

It's all up to you, no pressure, but that is why we are requesting a yousendit.com link. It's just easier for everyone. ;o)

I ripped my vinyl of that about 6 months ago. I *believe* that it was the first time it had been posted anywhere to share. If you want the rest of the LP let me know.

The models saw them in concert at the "Australian Made" concert in Sydney 1986 I think was truly the best concert I ever went too. Still remember the sunburn and the italian girl Serena that night!

The memories we associate with songs is truly amazing!

The band released their most successful work with the singles Out of Mind, Out of Sight and the James Freud tune Barbados, off the album Out of Mind, Out of Sight. Their follow-up album, Media, was less successful. The Models featured on the Australian Made Tour of 1986 with INXS and Jimmy Barnes.

Oh and by the way ... my most favourite song from the models has to be 'Hold On' - just looked and you can now buy the DVD of the australian made concert which was filmed in Sydney ... as soon as I get back to Europe I will buy and see if I can see myself in the audience .... LOL!

And I am sure that the concert was in Jan 1987 in Sydney (from memory) anyway!

I love the Models and every version of them. I believe there were 11 different line ups in all. I have all their CDs available on the HUB. AlphaBravoCharlieDelta, Local And/Or General, Cut Lunch EP, Pleasure of Your Company, Out of Mind, Out of Sight, Media, Collection, and the 2001 release of their early material and live songs called Melbourne. Great band, every CD is different. Early stuff is very quirky experiemental syth based. Commercial CDs like Out of Mind.. and Media are similiar to 80s INXS. I rented that Australian Made DVD you were talking about BadWolf. Only 2 Models tracks are shown: Lets Kiss and Out of Mind. INXS is the band most heavily shown on it.

I also picked up two newer James Freud MP3s recently. "One Tony Lockett" about a famous Australian Footballer from AFL album and a track called "Hurricane". He also came out with a book a few years back detailing his hard drinking experience with The Models called "I Am The Voice Left From Drinking"
