Michael Cooper "Quickness" Radio version

Postby hutter » Fri Dec 02, 2005 11:26 am

This isn't a new wave performer, but I've tried for 16 years to get this track, and the folks at this site have been great at finding obscure tracks. It's by Michael Cooper(formerly of the r&b group CONFUNKSHUN) at it came out in '86 or '87, it's called "with a quickness" or "quickness" and I'll be happy with any version, but I'm really looking for the single radio version, it has a better mix than the LP version did. I used to have the LP version, but it was lost 16 years ago, and the only copy I ever had of the radio mix was (suprise) recorded off the radio on a now disintegrated cassette.

For $8.00 you can buy a copy of the CD "Love is Such a Funny Game" by Michael Cooper with "Quickness" on it. Or you could buy the single version on vinyl for a couple of bucks. Go to GEMM.com and type in the artist name.

I'm still looking for the radio mix of this song. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. I HAVE $$MONEY$$ TO SPEND FOR THIS. I AM DEAD F-N SERIOUS. I have tried every other avenue, from record stores to online music sites, NO LUCK. PLEASE help me find this song. I know it's not the greatest song in the world, but after looking for the radio mix for 16 years, it's become an obsession. The LP version is shitty by comparison.

If all is well on Slsk when I get home this evening I will post Quickness (the LP version is all I have been able to find) and if you need the whole LP, I should have it!
