Does anyone have or know anything about this band ? I used to have "One of Our Girls" on cassette, which I loved. The only time I've ever seen these guys in print was a Mute Records compilation CD, years ago in a record shop. When I looked around on the 'net, I saw that there was the band's sole album, One of Our Girls (Has Gone Missing), featuring guitar work by Bruce Gilbert (of Wire) and production work by John Fryer (production, Nine Inch Nails' Pretty Hate Machine). Anyone have anything to share, esp. the "one of Our Girls" song ? Thanks in advance![:)]

A. C. Marias is Angela Conway, a longtime Wire associate. She sings lead on Dome's "Cruel When Complete"; I think she's mainly a filmmaker who did some work for the band. _OOOG(HGM)_ is the only album I know from her--it sounds exactly like late-80s Wire-affiliated projects, particularly _It's Beginning To and Back Again_ and Graham Lewis's He Said albums.

It's a very pleasant record and worth tracking down (note that the US versions has fewer songs than the Mute U.K. edition.) Conway's got a nice, English-ethereal voice, and I've a soft spot for Wire's dugga-dugga take on dance music.

I own the CD, and I'd be happy to share it on the hub or Soulseek.
