Looking for Extended Play of the 80's for Trading

Postby James McCaffery » Thu Dec 29, 2005 4:51 pm

Hi all ,

I am james , i have just join the club . Happy to be here

I am a ex-amateur singer song writer .

I am 35 and quite making music over 7 years ago .

Recently i fell real sick and have been trying to recover from my illness for 5 months now , the pills are just not cutting it .

So my doctor says i need to let my body enjoy something , find something artistic to do , to keep motivated and keep your mind of the illness .

So i've decided to start singing again and recording some cover tracks .

Lately i am looking over the 1980's era and would like trading Extended play versions or live versions of the 80's era groups .

First = ****

I am in trying to find a rare song , NOT THE SINGLE MIND YOU , but the rare 12" extended play version of Glass Tiger's : " Don't forget me when i'm Gone " .

I would really like to get a hold of it in Wav format or MP3 format , either way it is the song i want . The extended version has bryan adams singing back up vocals alot more on it .

If anyone can help me on this one , i sure would be willing to trade what i have in 12 " extended play of my own stuff .

This will finally permit me to record this cover . I am looking to record myself for my kids to listen to later on if i am no more .

Thanks again .

I only have the standard version and see nothing but standard versions on various hubs. Sorry James. Sincerely the best of luck with your stuff...I wish I knew how to make that sound less trite.

I found 3 different remixes on P2P networks:

- Extended Mix (4:49)
- Death Mix (5:43)
- Club Mix (7:03)

Let me know, which one you'd like - or just all of them? ;-)
