Nick Lowe Requests

Does anyone happen to know if there was any Nick Lowe songs that were released as an extended 12 inch? I would love to know and hear if "Cruel To Be Kind" ever came out as an extended 12 inch,or for that matter any other early Nick Lowe songs.I don't think I ever recall seeing any of his songs on a 12 inch, for that matter an extended one at that.Thanks.

I forgot to add, does anyone happen to know if Ian Gomm ever recorded his own version of Cruel to Be Kind? He wrote the song, but I have yet to see a version by him.If anyone has a copy of Ian Gomm's version, can they please post it in here? I would love to hear how he does it,and be able to compare it to Nick Lowe's version.

Speaking of which has anyone really heard Ian Gomm's version? If so how does it compare to Nick Lowe's version? Thank you.

All the credits I look at give Lowe/Gomm writing credits.

I have a 12" of "I Knew the Bride When She Used To Rock And Roll" buried somewhere in the basement from my DJ days, don't recall for sure but think it was an extended mix. I'll check it out and let you know!

Hi Coop:
If you can find I Knew The Bride and it is extended do you think that you can kindly post it in here as a file? I would love to get it from you if I could.Meanwhile thank you ahead of time.I then take it that even such songs like I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass,Half A Boy,Half A Man,and Raging Eyes never came out as an extended 12 inch?

Hello Coop
I take it that you haven't had any luck yet in finding Nick Lowe's 12 inch extended version of "I Knew The Bride" yet huh?

I have finally unearthed it, it is a Columbia release from 1985 Produced by Huey Lewis(I just saw him in Times Square last month at a street corner!) that says Demonstration Not For Sale but unfortunately, both sides contain the album version from "The Rose of England". Sorry[:(]
