Hey, you know me, the Wild Swans are my absolute fave "wusspop" band. [}:)]

Now, when Plastik44 comes through with those b-sides, I'll be one happy Swansophile.

WB, Never mind the few little bitches who dub Wild Swans (and Colourfield) as "wusspop"- it's obviously their pathetic excuse for being IGNORANT of something some people they detest know so much about. [}:)] I would bet that they're shamelessly downloading the tracks being shared here. Hypocrites! [xx(]

I LOVE The Wild Swans. They are the best band ever. Every day I get down on my knees and thank the good Lord for giving me the opportunity to have heard their brilliance. One day, I would like to form my own country for the sole purpose of making "Bible Dreams" my national anthem. That is how much a part of my life they are. I would sooner go without oxygen than live a single day without hearing a Wild Swans song.
Every other artist currently recording should just give up right now, as they will never be able to achieve the tiniest fraction of the amazing, awe-inspiring genius that is The Wild Swans.
In Manila, every second Thursday of the month, there is a New Wave gig at 6 Underground, Makati called My Boyish Days. This time, the gig will feature Atom Float covering The Smiths, Watari Machine, covering New Order and The Cure, Dream Kitchen covering EATB and DM and Sleepy Heads.... Of course, I'm going, especially because I will take delivery of a couple of CD's from the US, TPOH and The Room. eheheh

My Boyish Days 12" version

hey fanciz,

where's this 6 underground? i would love to check this out!

Oops! Sorry for the late answer, I didn't see your post. 6Underground is in Carlos Palanca street, Legaspi Village, Makati. Enter by De La Rosa coz Palanca street is one way. It is a few meters after Gweilo's. Almost opposite you have also Bistro 110, a friend is spinning NW every Tuesday & Thursday.
You can check also this site, they usually promote the gigs.

With a song called "Bible Dreams" as the anthem, would you go the distance and insist that Bush be president?[:D]

Plastik, all mosquito buzz from insecure male bitches aside, you're the greatest. Thanks much!

So, was that extended Bringing Home The Ashes I posted the one you were looking for?

I'm flattered by your obsession with my MANHOOD (and yes, it should be capitalized). BTW, have you met Brenda (Bhols) yet? You two would make such a "fabulous" couple (assuming it's OK with Francine, of course). I will even send you an autographed pic of me for your civil union gift. [:X]
