Request: Mainframe - 5 Minutes

I'm looking for this particular version of Mainframe - Five Minutes. I recorded this version from the radio, and I've never been able to find it. If anyone has this, please share! It would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Right song, wrong version however.

This is definitely some sort of single version or something like that.

Thank you, though. [:)]

I have both the 12" and the 7" single from 1985, and this version is on neither. There may be a different 1986 version though; it's listed on gemm.com

Thank you very much! But unfortunately, this isn't quite it either.

The version I'm looking for is distinct because of it's intro, and the stuttering, sampled "Uncle Eric." And the chorus seems different than any other version I've been able to find.

If I didn't have this recording, I'd swear the version doesn't exist, and for all I know, it actually doesn't anymore. But I will not give up this 20 year quest!

BTW, do you happen to have an mp3 of the b-side of the 7" single?

Now only if I could find a clean version of "Talk to me", their best song ever.

Interesting, the "Eric's revenge" on the yousendit posted link is different than the version I had. I had a lousy-sounding version of it that sounded a lot less electronic. It was very minimal, just with that oboe(or whatever) and percussion.

Ah if I could only find Tenants of the Latticework at the record shop. The "talk to me" single was released on flexi-disc with the Loderunner computer game. To me, this is the holy grail of collecting. I may never find it in my lifetime.

Originally I discovered "Talk to me" by them from the alt.binaries.sounds.mp3 newsgroup. I downloaded it on a whim and loved it.

Can someone/anyone reup any of these tracks? I have two 12" versions of "Five Minutes", one runs 5:34 and the other 6:43. I'd particularly like to hear the B-Sides, the single mixes and any other tracks from the LP.

As far as I can remember - including 7" and 12" versions there are about 7 different versions (of which I've got...somewhere?). One version was only on one of two different 12" promos for '5 Minutes On' and there was also a Razormaid mix as well.
