I always wonder about that, if an 12" version of that song was ever released. I don't remember ever seeing any 12" singles joe jackson of this song back in 82' (promo only release?) But after I did a search over at gemm.com this is closes I could come with.

I have the 12" of Stepping Out...UK (I dont believe there was a U.S equivilant other than a promo for the single) anyway -- there is nothing really spectacular about the 12" ---it is called the 'full length version' -- in other words , im pretty sure its the album version.....no crazy breakdowns or obvious 'extended' cues....sorry. it would have been nice if they worked on a proper extendeed version
