A B-52's Question?

A B-52's Question?

Postby newwavepopman » Fri Jan 27, 2006 1:16 pm

Does anyone happen to know if some of their very early hits were ever put out as an extended 12 inch? I mean songs such as Rock Lobster,Private Idaho, and Legal Tender. The earliest extended 12 inch I have seen and own by them is Song For A Future Generation.I was just wondering if any of their earlier songs before that was ever put out as extended 12 inches? Thanks.

Although the only extended/remixed versions of any of their earlier songs I have exist on the Party Mix! album, I did find this link:

http://my.execpc.com/~krieg/links/b52s.discog

I hadn't known that there was an alternate mix (listed as a U.K. mix) to either Loveland or Cake, though I would like to hear what they sound like.

Also, some kind person had posted an extended version of Girl From Ipanema Goes to Greenland a few days ago. I know that there are two different extended versions of this song, and I wonder what the other one (the one not posted) sounds like. I've always wished that the B-52's would have had an extended version of Legal Tender.
