Song of The Week

Postby marie3 » Sun Jan 29, 2006 2:37 am

I just wanted to remind everyone to check out Mike P's song of the week. It is a great song by Yazoo. I don't know how often everyone looks there.
Thanks Mike!

Thanks for the shout out Marie. This area of the board has fast overtaken my meager weekly song offering, but I'll keep at it for at least one more year!

I've just put Fay Ray's "<a href="../samples/weekly/Fay Ray - Wargames.mp3">Wargames</a>" up for this week.

Mike P is okay with the sharing as long as you post songs that are not easily obtained. Out of print music okay, Flock of Seagulls Space Age Love song, no. You can always send questionable songs directly to the member.

I think once the hub is up and running again -- consistently I might add -- the sharing frenzy here will die down a bit. I think it will be worthwhile to refer people who request (or offer) a number of songs to go there instead.

I realize the Hub is down. How & where do you go to activate this Hub when it`s up & running? Any information will help. Thanks

I am one of those people who cannot get on the hub. Waukena had offered to help me out, which I may take him up on his offer. But I still may have to use this topic area to help me out with some songs once the hub is up and running. [:)]
