Encoded Vinyl To Share W/Love!

Postby DJSpike » Mon Jan 30, 2006 6:47 am

Hello everyone, I have been a regular visitor to this website and just recently to this nice forum. It is nice to see true music lovers get together and share their music. I happen to be a radio DJ for a college radio station and my own 20 watter. I have a wealth of music to share with everyone as I have been collecting for a long time now and have access to the stations vinyl section ;) Anyway I thought I would start out by sharing a couple of my favourites with everyone. The first link is by Red Flag with the song called Control. It was taken from a beautiful neon red maxi single that included atleast 3 different mixes of broken heart. The second track is by Gangway with the song entitled, yesterday when I was drunk. Two very nice songs from the 80's that unfortanitly you don't hear on mainstream radio. I hope you enjoy them, I have lots more to share. Thanks again for the great tracks!

Thanks guys for the great feedback. I am really happy you enjoyed the tracks. It's nice to share and know that the songs have reached another soul in a positive way :) I am in the proccess of encoding more vinyl and upload more tracks that I have archived somethime this week. Maybe in a day or two mosy likely.

Seffe: I am sorry I don't have any songs by Rodway. I'm not to familiar with them.If anyone has a track by them I would love to hear what they are like myself.

Anyway like I said I will post more later!! [:D]

Hello Fellow New Wavers! :),

I am back with some vinyl rips. I have choosen three songs I thought you would love. The first one is off of the Pet Shop Boys single domino dancing 12 inch single. The very last track is called Don Jaun (Disco Mix). Very nice mix for anyone who doesn't have this in their PSB song collection.

The second song is called Absolute by Scritti Politti. It's off of their 12 Inch UK Single. This verson is tacken off the B-Side and is therfore called -- Absolute - (B Side Mix) It's great catchy song :)

And finally, here is another great track from the 80's. This track by VitaminZ was taken from the UK 12 Inch Single, Burning Flame. This is there Extanded Dance Remix. I hope you enjoy them all and if there is any problems with the quality of the recorded file.. let me know. I have encoded them at 320 Kbps to preserve as much dynamic range as possable. I apologies for the large files!

Thanks for making them available, but why did you post one of the worst Gangway tracks. "Come Back as a Dog" or "Me and My Girl" as FAR better.
