That's weird! I know nothing about Macs, so I couldn't even speculate at what is happening.

FYI, for those that want to know, I pretty much just record these in Cool Edit and then save as WAVs. I ran them through the Click Repair program that 1980-F mentioned in <a href="http://www.nwoutpost.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=10263">this post</a>. Then converted them to .mp3 using WinLame. These may not be the best "rips" out there, but I enjoy posting them nonetheless.

Oh, and I'm a he. [:D]

Great stuff, cb. Sparks have a new one coming out soon (www.allsparks.com). Did you rip these from vinyl or from the OOP CD?

The Sparks "12" Mixes" CD is still in print ("Music You Can Dance To" is not on it), and I believe the remixes of "I Predict" and "All You Ever Think About..." were remastered from vinyl, as indicated on the liner notes.

It *is* still in print; you're right. I always get that one and the German one I have that preceded it confused. That's why I wondered about the CD vs. vinyl -- I remembered that the Oglio had vinyl sources on a few of them. Someday when I have a lot of time I should compare them all side-by-side [:)].

I could have sworn I had that "music" mix on CD, but if I do, I can't find it now!

Thanks for the clarification!
