cool thank you very much, thats odd because i came across about 4 songs that are demos before simon joined that are suprisingly good quality and was going to ask if anybody else had any other early demos like that.

Thanks for these! Any clue if the 7 and the ragged tiger one is legit? I heard it about 5 years ago and I cannot remember what the 'story' was behind it....

That Seven And Rapid Tiger demo was precursor to The Seventh Stranger.

Those would be on Andy Wickett's website.
http://www.andywickett.com/ (clcik on "music" tab and then "Duran Duran" tab)
Andy Wickett was an early member of Duran Duran before Simon joined, and while in the band, recorded 4 demos: See Me Repeat Me (which later became "Rio", after Simon joined and rewrote the lyrics), Working the Steel, Reincarnation, and Girls on Film. I was able to download them from somewhere (he used to have a link on his site), but they were the kind that only copied to your Media Player and not your hard drive. Wish I could find them again--Girls on Film in particular is quite good ! Andy Wickett later got involved with TV Eye.

I don't like the early GOF lyrics at all.
The track is rough, but it sounds OK.

Thanks for the link!![:D]

I've heard that one of the Taylors has said that the "Seven and the Ragged Tiger" track that is supposed to be from the demos for the album of the same name (the track which you've uploaded) is a fake. The reason was something like there are synths on the track which the band didn't use during the sessions, or something to that effect.

What ever this track suppose to be That Seven And Rapid Tiger demo or The Seventh Stranger demo. It sound like pure shit. Its these worst sounding track from DD Or not. Over the years I have heard that track suppose to Seven And Rapid Tiger demo was precursor to The Seventh Stranger. I but I was never to sure about that.
