VHS tapes M2 1996-early 1999

Postby spartantrader » Sun Aug 27, 2006 9:48 am

Does anyone out there have any old video tapes of M2 from 1996-early 1999 (before the name change to MTV2 in 1999). I am starting the long process of going through my old VHS tapes to convert to DVD, and I wanted to see if anyone else had the channel and recorded it.

I had to buy one of those old C band satellites just to get the channel and I recorded an obscene amount of the channel. For any special days of programming, which there was alot of, I would just record the whole day's videos (they were on an 8 hour loop in the early days with no commericals).

I am especially looking for the New Year's Eve Top 100 countdown for 1996. I have all 8 hours of the countdowns from both 1997 and 1998, but missed 1996 (which they actually broadcasted twice) or anyone who has tapes from August or September 1996. I got my dish on Sept 24, so other than seeing the first hour, I didn't see anything from August 1996.

If you recorded anything and want to trade, email me at SpartanTrader@comcast.net

Thanks for reading,
Michael
