Describe These Videos

Postby Like_Music_88 » Sun Nov 02, 2003 3:34 pm

I haven't seen the videos for the following songs, so can somebody please describe them to me and tell me if the film format was film or video tape. I don't know the technical words for video clips that look like they were filmed on film (XTC 'Are You Receiving Me', Pretenders 'Brass In Pocket', Split Enz 'I See Red') and videos that appear clear (like a TV show appearance) and video like (the Knack 'My Sharoner', XTC 'Making Plans For Nigel', Iggy Pop 'I'm Bored', David Bowie 'Ashes To Ashes)....

The following videos I haven't seen and I would like to know what they look like. Even if you have video stills of the following clips, it would be appreciated if you could post them.

Lene Lovich - New Toy
Dave Stewart - What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted
Pat Benetar - Heart Breaker
Carly Simon - Jessie
Jona Lewie - You'll Always Find Me In The Kitchen
Godley & Creme - Wide Boy
Flying Lizards - Summertime Blues (does it exist?)
Wazmo Nariz - Tele-tele-telephone
Voyager - Judas
Icehouse - Glam
Ian Dury - Spasticous Autisticous
Squeeze - Take Me I'm Yours
Angie - Peppermint Lump
Pearl Harbour - Drivin'
Records - Starry Eyes

Videos before 1982 by:
John Cooper Clarke
Live Wire
Stranglers
Head Boys
Jane Aire
Penetration/Pauline Murray

Did the following make videos and if so, title and year and how
to get them:

Orchids
Tommy Rock
Cobra
Spider
Jayne County
Lydia Lunch
Urban Verbs
Stiv Bators
Durocs
Phil Rambow
DL Bryon
David Werner
Jonathon Richman
Laughing Dogs
Feelies
Atlantics
Sue Saad
Louise Goffin

So much more, I am very curious!

The Stranglers videos are available on DVD (probably 10+ are before 1982, e.g. Peaches)
