The Different Story video is really cool. It's got Peter Schilling dressed in that outfit that he wore for his "best of" cd. He's riding around in a horse a lot of the times and there's a beautiful girl that dances around and sings the female part. An old man appears once in awhile too. Pretty interesting video.

The Hands To Heaven video is the perfect video for that song. There's an angelic looking girl dancing all around this room while it looks like he's singing to her. I don't know but I guess I like videos with pretty girls dancing around in them. :)

Would the beautiful girl be Sandra?

It's certainly possible that the beautiful girl would be Sandra. The song was produced by Sandra's husband Michael Cretu (aka Enigma).

My vote goes to Devo's "Beautiful World" video. These poor saps were so ahead of their time with visuals being integrated with the music that the rest of the music world is still trying to play catch up. Just a brilliant video that understands the ever important concept that music videos are supposed to be visual interpretations of the songs message.

I'll second Love is a Stranger, man, that's one classy ass video. One of my all time favorites.

Anyone who's got the Devo DVD can attest that they made some kickass videos. My favorite is "The Day My Baby Gave Me a Suprise".

Duran Duran, it's gotta be The Chauffeur, without a doubt, but Planet Earth just so embodies the New Romantic moment.

I was watching the video for Mad World the other day, and very much enjoying it, although my old man was laughing at me the whole time when I jumped up and danced along in the New Romantic style...lol.

There are three videos that come to mind as absolute classics, suave and stylistic, Zoot suits and rag ribbons, they are:

The Blow Monkeys - Digging Your Scene (The first song about AIDS, could anyone tell, except perhaps from Dr Roberts Camp moves.)

Morrissey - Suedehead (in one part he's down on his haunches reading the 'little Prince' for chrisakes.)

Robert DeNiros Waiting - Bananarama (Film noir stylings on a popcorn, bubblegum classic).
