B-Movie Video Promo for Nowhere girl?

Postby Plastik44 » Mon Aug 28, 2006 3:10 am

I've just taken a look at youtube to find out what the video was like? It seems they've just taken a sequence from Fritz Lang's `Metropolis´ (1927). Is that the real video promo? Can ynone confirm that?
If so I'll gladly dig up my copy of that movie and produce my own version for a DVD. Actually, a little bit of cutting would have improved the thing. Queen did that way better when they nicked material for Radio Gaga.

I have confirmed with the guys from B-Movie before and they never made an official video for Nowhere Girl. Weird because it's the song that everyone knows them by. I can picture a really cool video for it.

Funny thing. I thought that the footage from `Metropolis´ fits perfectly but the editing being to slow for our times. If I find time I'll try to work on a different editing as that song definetely should have a video.

It would be cool if you can incorporate some of the pictures of the band on there or something. [:)]

By the way, B-Movie was going to release their recent concert on DVD but I guess it's not going to happened. Too bad. One of the coolest New Wave bands around and the only thing we get to see from them is one video for Switch On Switch Off. (it is a very cool video though)

The music video for "Switch On/Switch Off" is amazing!

I could only imagine how one would be for "Nowhere Girl" I guess it's best this mystery never to be solved, I just sometimes wish the band would have made a promo music video for such an inspiring song at the time.

I've been trying to dl this thing for weeks but without any luck. The file is around 123 MB which lets me hope it could be enough to burn to a DVD and good quality. I wish people would start offering more high quality files so that I can make my own DVDs with stuff I'd like...[:D]
