I've been on a long and difficult quest to find the "Strangers in the night" video by Peter Baumann, ever since I first saw at a friend's place many years ago. I'm a giant fan of 80s new wave rock and this song is my absolute favorite, probably because it's so hard to come by! Could you please tell me where I can download the video? (Willing to pay $$$ for an MP3 or MPEG). My email address is dark_emerald_stone@hotmail.com. Also, if possible, I am also looking for the song "10 9 8" by Face to Face, another awesome video. Has anyone out there even HEARD of it? Please reply to me at the above address. Thanks a million.

Has anyone ever heard of "10-9-8?" Uh, yeah, it was a Top 40 hit.

I'll try to post them on rapidshare or something like that if I can find the time. "Strangers" has a bunch of satellite freezes and dropouts, though.

My copy of Strangers is pristine (from Brunolly). Unfortunately, the PC I house it on is in several pieces at the moment. I'll try to get it up and running this week and will post back with a link to dropload.com or something.

I'm all about the free exchange of these '80s treasures. I don't understand the guys that just want you to know what they have, yet keep it all for themselves (and I've run across several). Share the music!

Danse Society's video for "2000 Light Years From Home" is one of my favorites as well. Unforunately, I don't have a very good copy of it. I'd love to see "Heaven is Waiting" if it exists.

I don't know if anyone else remembers this, but there was a VHS tape available back in the 80s that collected a handful of R rated music video clips. "Screaming in My Pillow" was on there along with the uncut versions of Peter Godwin's "Images of Heaven", Dwight Twilley's "Girls", O'Bryan's "Lovelite", and quite a few others.

I have quite a few videos from VH1 Classic's heyday digitized and as soon as I replace my TV card, I'll start transferring stuff off of my VHS tapes. I'm looking forward to joing the hub but I still need to build up my collection of mp3s to share. I'm trying to put together a gig or two of the more obscure stuff (including some rare vinyl I've transferred and cleaned up) instead of the typical New Wave stuff that you always see on complilations.

I'm interested in getting some of these.
Just plop all of those vids on the hub, I'm sure it's at least gig.

Yeah, this is called "Sexy Shorts." Worth tracking down. Duran Duran's "The Chaffeur" is on there, too.

I've uploaded Peter Baumann's "Strangers In The Night" to rapidshare. The address is:

http://rapidshare.de/files/6214028/Pete ... t.avi.html

It's only a little over 20MB, but looks and sounds great.
