As being discussed on the Official Forum:
Put your hands together for the DVD LIVE - ARCHITECTURE & MORALITY & MORE scheduled to be released on November 5, 2007. This DVD will contain footage of Hammersmith (May 19) and Aintree/Liverpool Summer Pops (July 21), as well as interviews, some screen images and backstage shots. Release details as follows (please note UK formatting of date):
DVR Details
Release Date: 05.11.2007
Running Time: 135 mins
Certificate: E
Retail Price: £14.99 (about $30 U.S.)
Bar Code: 5034504966475
Cat. Number: EREDV664

Website: http://www.pinnacle-vision.co.uk/titles ... Label=E325 . (This page, while containing the proper release information as recently as Monday, for some strange reason now gives details about a Grand Nationals DVD.)

I have e-mailed Pinnacle Television regarding Region Zero coding and availability in NTSC format but have received no response.

So, at the risk of sounding like a pledge drive, if you are interested in owning this DVD, please contact Pinnacle Television if your entertainment equipment requirements are other than Region 2 and PAL. One might also inquire about the method of distribution (i.e., available via website?) Reference the title, the bar code (5034504966475) and Cat. Number (EREDV664). Their contact e-mail is on their main page. http://www.pinnacle-vision.co.uk/

Trouble in paradise, as being reported by the Admin on the Official Forum:
http://www.omd.uk.com/forum/viewtopic.p ... 7&start=30

“Andy is currently away but has said that the live DVD will be an issue when he returns. Hopefully I can post up some info next week on this. . . . I know that there were problems with the edit of the live footage and that more editing is in progress. That's going to have an impact on any potential release dates.”

Stay tuned. In the meantime, this just gives us more time to convince Pinnacle that REGION ZERO is the way to go! [:D]

Delays in OMD releases is to be expected. We've waited about 20 years now for them to release their videos on dvd, while Weird Al Yankovic has already released a best of and then a new best of. Dazzle Ships remastered has been talked about for many years now but has no ETA. Too bad they weren't on EMI.

From the Official OMD News Page: http://www.omd.uk.com/html/news.html
The OMD Live DVD which was filmed at London's Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year is unlikely to see a release date prior to 2008. The band were not happy with the visual editing so the footage is going to be re-edited. It's unfortunate that a lot of people who are waiting on the DVD will be frustrated, but the concern is that this release should be the best document of the Architecture And Morality tour.
On one hand, Phooey! On other hand, it’ll be awesome and well worth the wait.

The CD is available at <a href="http://www.omd.uk.com/omerch/index.php">the OMD Official Store</a>, but unfortunately not the DVD at this time due to manufacturer's (Eagle) failure to make good on its promises to deliver the goods. [:(!] [V]

Eagle made good, and the DVD is now available at the OMD Official Store!

Reading the reviews on Amazon, it doesn't seem like Andy's concerns about the DVD quality were addressed. :(

well ... here's what andy himself jus' recently wrote in the official o.m.d. forum about this live dvd :

"I must admit to having some "issues" with the live DVD.

Now that it is out and doing OK I can share them with you. I didn't want to put people off with my perfectionist problems.

They insisted on filming the second night in London so they could work out camera angles etc. then it didn't really make a difference anyway. The delay in release has been due to it being re-edited seversal times as we tried to find better shots which often were not to be found.

Also, the vibe at the first night was better.. as we had predicted. A lot of time has been spent editing out the camera man to Paul's left who got on stage in the wide shots all the time. I spent days noting many many timings of shots that needed to be changed. I wish that the DVD could capture the feel that the screen created and the atmosphere in the venue.. but of course it can't.

OMD is a strange band on stage. At a live gig (esp doing all of A+M first) we are not a typical rock and roll band... so the camera work has to be creative. I thought that the show worked beautifully as a live show but it is hard to distill that feeling to a TV screen.

It is difficult for me because what is seen on the DVD has no relation to how I feel about a performance. It can never capture the adrenalin, nervous release, euphoria and sense of energy that I feel.. but that is to be expected. I know that Paul H, for example, has a completely different recollection of a gig because his evening is seen from a totally different perspective. So I bowed to his feeling that the DVD worked.

It can never happen, but I wish we could release an Andy's POV DVD. You would probably be amazed at how I see and feel a gig!"
