Urban Dance Squad

Here are a couple of vintage Urban Dance Squad videos I transferred from VHS. One is a live performance in Holland of their signature hit, Deeper Shade of Soul. The other is an industry video press kit promoting their first album.

Very cool Marv. Thanks. Urban Dance Squad were one of the very few hip-hop type crossovers that I liked. De La Soul is an obvious other choice.

Although I would have said "signature hit cover"...of Ray Barretto's original on his <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Acid-Ray-Barretto/dp/B000EMGJXQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/002-4375358-3334453?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1190733304&sr=1-1">Acid</a> album, itself a classic crossover for its latin/jazz fusions.

Remarkable. That's what I love about NWO. The collective wealth of knowledge here is ginormous. I never would have known that UDS covered that tune. As for your former points, I am in concurrence.
