Best to just store the converted digital files on HDD. DVD and BR are just another inefficient storage medium codec with limitations. For playback, my system is designed for high end audio/video playback direct from HDD storage. Makes back ups and travel much easier to keep organized.

I always wonder why people feel a need to limit themselves to one format.

Look for professional video conversion services in your local area or online. Many companies specialize in transferring analog formats like LaserDisc to digital formats such as DVD or Blu-ray. Search for reputable services with positive reviews.roofer Chatanooga

How much space does an uncompressed hour of FHD video take?

(And to get technical, "inefficient" is relative to what else is out there at the time. And DVD and BR are a storage medium just like HDD/SSD. No codec has to be used at all. The real issue is the limitation of 4.5/25GB versus modern HDD/SSDs TBs.)
