Just picked this up at Wal-Mart for $5.00! I forgot about how cool and unique this movie was. Great soundtrack. Not the same as the album of the same name, has kronos quartet and unique versions. Very cool.I had the soundtrack on cassette since originaly released but forgot about how cool the movie was. What's your take?

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one that liked this movie. I got mine as a gift, but I would have bought it anyways.
It's a completely cool multipurpose movie. [:D]

Ya, I always thought it was an excellent movie in an offbeat, quirky sort of way. But hey, isn't that what new wave is all about? Soundtrack is a blast - always made me want to sleep on the interstate [;)]

Happy sesquicentennial Texas!
