Harmonie & 80's clubs!

Oh yea, we used to hang at the Oddessy, that's where I (thanks to some gay friends) tried amal nitrate (not sure about that spelling) What a disaster! Did you ever go to Peanuts? We went there a lot. We used to go to RAge all the time, they were very accepting of the Punkers until, I'd say about 1985, when they said "No More", they were trying to go for a more upscale California look, at least that's what the bouncer told us. RAge is still alive and kicking, amazingly enough. Seven Seas was great. The Hollywood Athletic Club was another one we used to hang out at, after Club Lingere, and play pool and drink and drink and drink. Also, Club F--k. People who didn't experience that time here in L.A. just have no idea how incredible it was. It was more than a "look" or "music"... we were lucky to have lived in it. Too fun. I was from La Canada, which is right next to Pasadena. So we'd hang out at KROQ ALL the time. Behind, in the parking lot... I won't say anymore. ; ) I dated a KROQ intern and went to many KROQ parties... wild, wild times! I'm convinced some of us here on his board must know eachother if we were hanging at all the same places! We should get some photos up somewhere. ??

Take care,

Sherise

I think every city had a "Odyssey" nite club. I used to visit one in Colorado all the time. They had a live drummer who would play along to the selections the DJ made. Great times!!!
