For the life of me, can't remember who sings this. Might be early 90s...Some of the lyrics

New York, New York, New York....
West Side, East Side, South Side
City of Enchantment, City of Excitement
Brooklyn, Harlem, Bronx
Be a part of it, feel the heart of it

New York, New York...
Downtown, Uptown, Chinatown,
City of the People, City of Deceivers(?)

Thanks!

The song you are looking for is NEW YORK by MICRO CHIP LEAGUE. You can find the track for sale right now on e-bay from two sellers in vinyl format. If you are looking for CD, your best bet may be to find a copy of HARDEST HITS Vol. 3 released by SPG Music

I agree about this being a great song. It took me a few years to find the 12". I hear MCL had a full album but I've never seen it.

I have such fond memories of MCL's "New York".
Dancing in a small Cambridge club called Ground Zero in 1987 is where I first heard this electronic gem. I'm 6' 4", & the speakers in this club were very low, so I left many a night almost deaf.

The MCL full-length album is called "Code Numbers". It's pretty cool stuff.
