Welcome to the new forum!
If you are a previously registered user, you must do the following:

1) Click on 'I forgot my password' at the login prompt
2) Enter your username and email you registered with and submit
3) You will receive an email with an activation link. Please click it and then log in using the random password provided
4) Go to your User Control Panel and click on the Profile tab
5) Click on 'Edit Account Settings' and enter your new password twice followed by the random password provided earlier. Click Submit.
6) That's it...you're back in! You may have to log in again with your new password.

It Sounded Like Elvis Costello

It had the word REFUGEE prominently mentioned many times in the title and the singer sounded like Elvis Costello.
It received a lot of airplay on KROQ in the summer of 1985.

This has been bugging me for almost twenty years.

Please help me before my brain melts! :)

The only artists that I have found to have sounded like Elvis Costello to a tee really was the band "Scott Wilk And The Walls back around 1980 way before 1985,but I can't think of any song thney sang that have the words Refugee in them sorry.The only song

I FOUND it!!!!!!

It was "The Deportees Club" by Elvis Costello!!!

It was the Summer of 1984 when I first heard this and it went away forever.
