Desperately looking for song title/artist...

Desperately looking for song title/artist...

Postby hbtennis » Wed Jun 11, 2003 6:02 am

Hi guys,

Does anyone know this song's name/artist? All I remember is that it sounded a bit like Squeeze with a repetitive background chorus of "come friday", and contained the lyrics: "in a cooley, cooley way", and "my telephone was ringing but my buddy was not on the line".

This song used to be played a lot on KROQ in Los Angeles back in the 80's(early to mid).

If anyone has the answer to the above question, it would be greatly appreciated. I will once again be able to sleep.

In advance, thank you
hbtennis

Sorry about those last two fire offs.

You are the KEWLEST. Thank you. I haven't heard that song in almost ten years. Everyone knows "Chicken Outlaw" because it had more pressings. I was lucky enough to pull down the mp3.

Wide Boy Awake was on

MissKitty,

If you're a PC user, right-click on the link and you should get an option to 'Save' the file. As for Mac users, I know there's a way to save the files (perhaps the Control+click or Option+click?).
