help with a song briefly on MTV

help with a song briefly on MTV

Postby MarkD » Sat Jun 21, 2003 4:05 pm

I need some help. I've been trying to find the name and artist of a song that was very briefly on MTV in the early 80's. I can't remember much of the song other than the refrain "in this world there are winners and losers" - or something similar to that. The video had a guy singing with some early computer generated special effects. I seem to recall a cube and the earth rotating in his hand.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Mark

Just a guess...

Lindsey Buckingham "Go Insane":

Two kinds of people in this world
Winners, losers
I lost my power in this world
Because I did not use it

And I go insane like I always do
And I call your name, she's alot like you

Two kinds

Thanks a ton - that is it! I went and listened to it on Amazon.com.

I would've never gotten that on my own. Heck, I didn't even know that Lindsey Buckingham had a solo career outside of Fleetwood Mac.

Thank you so much. Y'all are great.
