wondering for years

wondering for years

Hey guys! I just found this site and am excited to maybe get this question answered after years of wondering! In 1982 I was in Athens Ga. On the UGA radion station they were playing a song by either the Screaming Trees or maybe just the Trees. The only lyrics I can remember are "in a crowd of cigarettes and lunch meat". Any ideas?

The band you are looking for is TREES. They released one LP back in 1982 or so called "Sleep Convention". The song you are looking for that contains the lyrics "...in a crowd of cigarettes & lunchtime..." is NO STRANGER. That title is on Sleep Convention.
