My mystery songs!

I lived in Imperial beach CA back in the 80s and listened to 91X. I made many tapes off the station and now I'm on a mission to get the songs I really want. I think I found one of them already when I did a search at the homepage! Does "Time and space" by Flesh for Lulu go "it makes me feel so small, when I get that way, my dreams are fade away, in the time it takes to love me, I love you, time and space won't keep us down, I see your face and my feet don't touch the ground". I also searched for "House of cards"(if this is really the title?) which sounds like the same group, but nothing came up. It goes "you drag this ball and chain, across the desert plain, you build a hous of cards, around a lovers heart...in you room, all alone, watch the sky, watch the storm, coming down in your house of cards. I don't have the lyrics in front of me but I believe you are correct on most of them. The songs are in fact TIME & SPACE and HOUSE OF CARDS both off of their PLASTIC FANTASTIC lp,cass & cd release from 1989. The CD was released by Capitol / Beggars Banque

Sure does! Thank-you. Too bad they didn't release a greatest hits collection. I'm just discovering them now. "Every little word"(carries in the wind)" I believe was done by them as well and for years I thought it was Love and Rockets:O
