song ID: female new wave early '80s

song ID: female new wave early '80s

My friend and I are trying to ID a song he put on a mix tape back around 1983. He no longer remembers the name of the song or artist.
It's synth-dominated new wave with female vocals, somewhat reminiscent of Cristina or Flying Lizards or Lene Lovich...

The opening lyric is: "I want a bicycle, a motorcycle too, so I can ride around and keep off my...feet"

The chorus is something like "Take me to your knee, say you understand me, give me a (unintelligible), I'm not content, I can't hold back, where can it leave....me?"

Some other random lyrics I can discern:
"I've grown accustomed to the daily griiiind, a sailboat docking in a different (unintelligible)."

"....the shores of Portugal."

"...a (unintelligible) window with an isolated view..."

None of these lyric samples produce anything on search engines. I've checked the lyrics on both Cristina LPs, and no dice.

Any ideas?

That would the all-time KROQ classic "Spring in Fialta" by Slow Children. Let me know if you'd like a very clean MP3.

Apologies if this is double post...my first one didn't seem to take.

Just to let anyone possibly interested know, Pal Shazar has 5 solo albums out, one of which is fairly new. She sent it to me, along with some of her other past solo CDs that I was unable to find, because she was so happy to find the website I made.
