Just wondering if anyone can help me with some very vague memories I have of a music video that appeared on Australia's "Countdown" in late 83, early 84.

Was a "Rockit" sounding electro/hip hop track.

A - E - I - O was sounded off phonetically through a vocoder with the letters appearing on a Devo peek-a-boo style spinning cube. This was followed by a very short chorus which I believe was in French. Dont remember any other lyrics (not Freez or Ebn-Ozn).

Don't remember any people in the vid, just some cool absctact CG imagery.

Sounded great, the sort of thing radio stations at the time used as a filler between segments and before newsbreaks to get peoples attention.

The Europeans released a song in 1983 called "A E I O U". I remember a song like that at the time, but I'm not sure it's the same one.

Sounds very "Der Kommisar", no wonder I don't recall any lyrics (anyone speak French?).
