Help need the name to a song, it sounds like Wings

Help need the name to a song, it sounds like Wings

Postby vinz » Mon Nov 17, 2003 2:49 pm

I heard a song the other day on Muzak that I remember from my childhood. I think the chorus goes... "Please don't go away...." and its sounds like Paul McCartney...can anyone identify this song for me?

Thanks!

Vinz

Since this is a new wave forum, I'm going to guess that you think it might be from this era rather than it actually being a Wings song. Could it be "Don't Go Away" by the Thompson Twins? I certainly hope you're not thinking of "Please Don't Go Away" by Bo

You may be thinking of Please Don't Go by KC and the Sunshine Band, a #1 in 1979.

I would agree with Otter, KC and the Sunshine band is probably what you're looking for.
