Obscure 80's song, "Horror Movies"??

Obscure 80's song, "Horror Movies"??

Postby asadachi » Thu Dec 04, 2003 9:16 am

I'm searching for an obscure song I heard on KROQ in the 80's... must have been 1984 or so.
I think the title of the song is "Scary Movies" or maybe "Horror Movies."
It's got kind of a schlocky "spooky" feel to it, with the guy singing "Me and my girlfriend, we like watching horror movies" and the girl sings back "Me and my boyfriend on a Friday night."
Another line is "Some like it cold, I like it hot, especially when my girlfriend's holding my..."

At another point a voice imitating Vincent Price lists off some old horror movie titles, like "Teenage Dracula meets Teenage Wolfman."

Anyone know where I can find this song? If you do, shoot me a line at DannyMCMLXIV@yahoo.com!

Thanks! Danny in NYC

Aha, this wouldn't be the first time that someone's been looking for that song. It's "Horror Movies" by The Bullock Brothers. The only CD that I'm aware of that you can find it on is New Wave Club Class-X Vol. 2.

Here's the track listing on my site:

Wow!
Would anyone be able to email me the mp3 please?
Let me know by emailing nomuzou@hotmail.com, and I'll give you my "real" email address, which can handle large files.

Also, if any of you are located in Manhattan, perhaps we can get together and

I managed to get my hands on a cd called "The Best of the Bollock Brothers" on Charly Records. It has "Horror Movies". If you go to www.gemm.com you'll find some people who still list the cd for sale. Make sure it's the one that says "The Best Of...." and
