Barbarella - not Duran Duran

Barbarella - not Duran Duran

"O-oh,O-oh,O-oh, Barbarella-a"

Sorta B-52's kind of rythm, sorta surf-y. It was an underground radio hit circa '82. I can't think of any other lyrics.

Just knowing the titles of these songs is starting to give me a recall of the 'smell' of '84: the laser hologram pendant of Einstien, the [medical] peroxide in my hair, the 50's clothes I found in the garrage, the section sign in the record store labled

It was released on CD along with the "Beat Hotel" album, and it's well worth seeking out.

The Bongos definatly need to have their works re-issued. Agreatly underated band. The Numbers With Wings EP is a classic.

Will the tracks be re-mastered? I haven't listened to my Bongos CD's in a while, but I do recall they didn't sound so good sound wise.

I've got all the (major) Bongo's work on CD. I bought their CD's maybe 10 years ago. If you live in a major metro area, you should be able to dig up some of their work in a good record store.

Not too hard to find their stuff on Kazaa or SoulSeek, eithe
