I've been trying to figure this out for some time. it's not even a particularly good song but it's been in my head since long island's WLIR hayday in like '84. it's a really upbeat number, the lyrics I can recall are:
"and if there's any doubt who I am, just call me john, johhny q public." that's all I can remember.
