Who Did The Song "Creep" (NOT Radiohead)

Who Did The Song "Creep" (NOT Radiohead)

Postby Izumino » Wed Jul 28, 2004 12:14 am

Hi. I'm trying to identify a song I heard in, I believe, the late 1980's, which I saw on MTV's 120 MINUTES and put on a tape. It is called, I believe, "Creeps" or "Creep". It goes like this:

John Is A creep
Judy Is A Creep
Sam is a Creep
And Suzy Is a Super-creep
These are folks that done me wrong
This is why I wrote this song
These are folks that done me wrong
Wrong Wrong Wrong!

It was very poppy and catchy and simple and had the rhythm of Flipper's "Sex Bomb." It seems like a simple indie song from a local scene that was lucky enough to have a funny video that got on MTV.

I started singing this song to my daughter out of the blue yesterday, and now I'm obsessed with figuring it out.

If anyone could help me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Ack! The collegiate memories! The song is "Creeps" by the Swamp Zombies. It was a great video indeed.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it, and just picked up the CD, SCRATCH AND SNIFF CAR CRASH, from half.com.

Ah, memories!
