Mystery Song

Mystery Song

Postby egrrl » Mon Mar 01, 2004 7:54 am

I'm trying to find out the title and artist of a certain song.

It was played on KROQ between 1982-1983. A guy sang it..the lyrics went something like this - "Talk to me..tell me that you love me...and I tried and I tried, so talk to me."

Any help would be SO appreciated! [:D]

I could be wrong, but I have seen it somewhere that "NeoA4" did a song called "Talk to Me". Anyone else know for sure?

I AM SIAM also had a song called "Talk to Me" back in 1984...but I don't think that it's the same song

Ya know, the only song that remotely matches this is indeed I Am Siam's "Talk To Me" - but the only part in common seems to be the "Talk To Me" part - but I can confirm this was played on KROQ in that time period.

Here's a link to a real audio file of

The first song that popped into my head (besides Iam Siam) was a killer but very obscure song "Talk" from a band called Necropolis of Love (came out in 1984, so probably a little too late). I just posted it as my Song of the Week, so check it out![8D]

Thanks for your help, guys. Unfortunately, the songs that were mentioned are not the song I'm looking for. I'll keep searching... [:)]

Thanks again...

I can't believe I missed this one! If the originator of this thread is out there, the song you are looking for is "Talk To Me" by Phil Seymour, from the album Phil Seymour 2 on Boardwalk records. It's only available on vinyl and is not even on his out o
