song from 1983 or 1982 is haunting me

I heard this song on the Quake (KQAK) in either 1983 or 1982... It sounds a bit like Wham or the Stray Cats (in my head, anyway!) and I can only remember snippets of the lyrics:
possibly something about "skipping school"
"stiletto heels"
and this line: "It surprised me when she said Let's spend the day in bed"

I have been to several 80s forums to no avail... HELP!!! This is driving me crazy!!
